Red Seat Rebranding Project

Even in this awful economy, some employers are still hiring. And some of the smartest employers are working with Talley Flora. Talley's the President and CEO of Red Seat, a full-service hiring resource for small- and medium-sized businesses. She's been in business as a hiring expert for more than ten years. Her strategy has always been to help her clients locate and hire the best available candidates for the job. Earlier this year, business was fine but Talley wanted to push the company (at that time, it was called “Comprehensive Hire”) in a new direction, so she came to Kazoo to help her rebrand it. Even though she'd been operating successfully for a decade, Talley wanted to invest in a brand, a name, and a look that more accurately reflected the spirit of the business. Throughout the summer, we worked with Talley to learn how the company had operated in the past, how it would operate in the future, and what made it different from the competition. We helped her define the company's brand essence, and this branding work became the foundation for all of the creative execution that was yet to come. The company's new name, Red Seat, came straight from the client—she thought it conveyed the stress that managers feel when they've got a critical position to fill, and we agreed. A new logo, tagline, and identity system followed, as did fresh sales collateral materials and a website. As a whole, the new brand is playful yet professional--the ideal expression of Red Seat's custom approach to hiring. (Click the thumbnails below to view the images at a larger size.)
