Northeast Business Association Police Van Sign
Kazoo’s office is in Northeast Minneapolis near the corner of University and Central, and we love it here. It’s got a fun European vibe, and there are dozens of great restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and bars within easy walking distance of our office. The neighborhood also happens to have an excellent and active business association, of which Kazoo is a member.
A few years ago, the Northeast Minneapolis Business Association worked with the Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) to add another dimension to the neighborhood: Northeast got its own cop, Officer Elliot Wong. Officer Wong is a beat cop, which means that he is assigned specifically to our neighborhood. He works closely with residents and businesses to reduce crime and improve safety, and just generally keeps an eye on things. Everybody around here knows him, and he knows us. He’s an enormous asset to the neighborhood. We love the guy.
Recently, Officer Wong got a new patrol van, and the police department was nice enough to allow the Northeast Minneapolis Business Association to put a sign on the back of the van. They asked Kazoo to design something fun and eye-catching that would convey how much Officer Wong means to the neighborhood. This is what we came up with:
