The web is about to get more fabulous.

If you love typography, the world wide web has been a disappointment. Until now, for complex tech-related reasons I'm too dumb or lazy to explain, web developers have been limited to using only a handful of typefaces for (almost) all of the type you see on the internet. But a startup company called Typekit may be about to change that. Yesterday, Slate.com's Farhad Manjoo wrote a nice article about Typekit and the future of web typography. You should read it. It made my day. It might make yours, too.
